Cusworth Hall Park

The park at Cusworth Hall is beautiful. It has lovely walks on well maintained paths, that take you through trees, shrubbery and by the lakes, where you are able to see and feed ducks and other birds. The Hall (which is now a free museum) sits overlooking the grounds and from there affords lovely, sweeping views. The Park hosts various special events throughout the year including re-enactments, classic car shows, and craft fairs. Next to the car park is a wonderful playground which helps to exhaust any left over energy from the children! The adjoining field is often used by visitors for flying kites and remote-controlled aircraft. It is a wonderful place for a stroll and a picnic, or if you'd prefer you can stop at the tea rooms. There are also some great spots for taking photos. We've been able to get some lovely family photos here. The car park is adequate, but does make a charge.
