Beer Festival

The Crossways Inn holds a very popular annual Real Ale beer festival. You can sample from over 30 real ales ranging from your more darker, robust malty ale right up to your lighter, more golden ale with exciting undertones. We also have a tasty selection of over 15 farmhouse ciders! Be quick because once they're gone they're gone! CAMRA double discount applies for the whole weekend.

Live music is a must so we have great line up's of live music during the afternoons and evenings. If that's not enough there is hot food available to buy outside during Saturday and Sunday along with things for the kids to enjoy.

About us

Steve, Abi and the team welcome you to The Crossways Inn, West Huntspill in Somerset. A family run 17th Century Coaching Inn serving good home cooked fresh food with a great selection of 6 real ales, local farmhouse ciders, lagers and fine wines.

During the warmer summer months we have a large enclosed beer garden with an outdoor play area for the children to enjoy with lots of seating for the adults and during the not so warm winter months we have 2 stunning open fire places to keep those feet and hands warm.

The Crossways Inn has claims originating back to around the 17th century. Its location would have made it a calling stage for coaches and carriages. Being adjacent to the common, it would have been part of the fairs and animal markets which occurred there until the late 19th century. There is also photographic evidence of hunts meeting here.

We pride ourselves in cooking good home cooked food using locally sourced meats, fish and bread. All our dishes are prepared and freshly cooked to order.

Food service starts at 12pm everyday till 2.30pm and resume again from 6pm till 9pm (8.30pm on Sundays). Please note that final orders are taken 10 minutes before end of service.
