The Lordleaze Hotel, once an 18th century farmhouse, is a comfortable country hotel offering the finest standards with a warm and friendly atmosphere. Ideal for both business and pleasure. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the Hotel. Excellent restaurant and bar with lots of free parking. Now in our 14th year The Owen Family personally run the Lordleaze Hotel with attention to detail and a warm atmosphere - we have recently been awarded an AA 3star 77% Hotel rating which is one of the highest in the area. Weddings, conferences, parties or a break - the ideal location.
About Us
Set in a secluded area on the Somerset, Dorset, Devon borders we are surrounded by natural pasture land but only three minutes away from Chard town centre. It is a perfect location for those seeking peace and tranquillity.
Our 25 en suite bedrooms are ideal for a night away or a long holiday, with all bedrooms being Double or twin bedded and available for single occupancy there are ground floor bedrooms, a room with disabled facilities , Family rooms , and a 4 poster bedroom - there is something for everyone.
Weddings, Conferences, Parties of all shapes and sizes, Bar Snacks and Fine Dining or just a quiet pint The Lordleaze Hotel awaits.

We have have just had a really good New Years Eve staying at The Lordleaze Hotel. The staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble when you asked them for something.The food was fantastic at the Gala dinner and also the following morning at breakfast.Our room was clean and comfortable. We took our dog with us and had lovely french doors so we could come and go without going into the hotel with the dog which is an excellent idea.Hope to return soon.
