No Customer Service Skills

The man who answers the phone needs to have some customer service skills training. Would never buy from this company! Just rang for some advice regarding a duropal breakfast bar and it was obvious he thought women were stupid! I am a highly educated woman and worked with the public in the banking industry for over 25 years. Admittedly don't know a lot about work tops etc and all I wanted to know was whether they could supply the worktop with a straight edge instead of the rounded edge it came with as standard. The way he spoke to me was so condescending and I could tell he thought I was thick. He didn't wait for me to explain what I wanted to know, making out he didn't understand me and said "I don't think we're going to get anywhere are we?" At which point I told him I wasn't stupid. He then said he thought I ought to go elsewhere. Well you've lost a sale of around£1000 and that"s without any adjustments or edging. Sometimes I wonder why people like him choose to work with public.
