Appalling Groomers

I am absolutely appalled at the groom that my 10-month-old Shih Tzu received last Saturday. She had been groomed 7 weeks prior to this groom at a different groomer but due to a change in their availability we had to looked else were. The Groom Zone was passed on via a recommendation, however I would never recommend anyone going there. I explained in depth the style we prefer by showing photographs to the groomer of her previous groom and that we would prefer it to be kept a moderate length, my dog was not badly matted at all because she is brushed most days and it was only 7 weeks since her last full groom. However, the groomer has clearly hacked at her coat she has even scalped the skin in some areas leaving the coat uneven and so short in places you could see the skin, her face was very untidy, and I question the overall care that was given to her as she hasn’t seemed her usual bubbly self since. I did not feel it was appropriate when collecting my dog to say how unhappy I was as I was on my own and the lady was very busy telling me all about what I should do with my dog. Not allowing me to express how unhappy and in complete shock I was. For reference my dog received her groom at 3pm on Saturday the 10th of July 2021 and I paid a considerable amount of money for this groom, unfortunately there is not an email for me to get in contact with the business manager about the state my dog has been left In.
