Excellent location, modern twist.
Cafe Saffron, is an excellent Indian restaurant located in Hills Lane. There is a pay and display car park opposiate the entrance. The premises, have recently extended, but has lost none of its charm. The decoration is in excellent order, pale with a modern twist. The menu is extensive, from the starters, to mains, side dishes and namm breads, as well as the tradational puddings. The staff are very helpful and friendly, not at all intrusive, even if the restaurant is full you feel like you are the only ones in the place. All food is freshly prepared, should there be anything you want different to the menu, the chef will do his best to accomodate your needs. This is the best Indian restaurant in Shrewsbury, and I would highly recommend this location to all.
