I was at the Up and Running oxford, for gait analysis and buying a running shoe. I was hoping to get some good advice as I had three injuries/pains namely pain at the sole of my feet, pain at the shin and pain just under the knee cap. After several test, like running on a tread mill, on a pressure plate etc. This was the advice I was given that I had "plantar fasciitis", "patellofemoral pain" & "medial tibial stress syndrome". All I was given was the scientific name for the pains that I said to them that I already had. I was told that the guy who saw me had qualifications that goes up to an arms length (lots of letters after his name, which I had no clue what qualification they were). I just a huge amount of money just to get something I could have easily googled at home. - John

I went to Up and Running to get advice on the right trainers to buy so I could run without aggravating an old ankle injury. The advice and service was excellent. I can now enjoy running completely free of ankle pain now I have the right trainers!
