Can't understand the review below. I use this pub regularly and all their food is good quality homecooked food. Yes, somethings are microwaved but the vast majority isn't. They now have a great evening specials board that changes regularly and have just introduced home made chips, fantastic. You need to go again and try. Service and value for money is always spot on.

Gone downhill!
This used to be one of my favorite place to eat out with friends as their menu was traditionally English and all home cooked. But have these changed there chef?What used to be great home cooked grub now is churned out microwave pub grub rubbish!Sosc#mpi and chips all round? It has it's place but with a shortage of places that home cook there food prefering the quick and easy option of microwaving everything it is a great shame!I've given 3 stars because the staff are friendly and polite and the atmosphere is cosy and inviting.Good for a relaxing drink but don't expect the standards of food they once had!
