southern cross carpets
i had southern cross carpets to do my lounge and kitchen ,i found this company to be most unprofessional,the two guys who run the shop appear to know very little about "floor prep" as my floor needed sorting prior to the fitting but they were less than helpful with this. The fitting service was ok there were 3 helping men that completed a satisfactory job and charged only £60...... .I wouldnt recommend this company for anything other than a "cheap job"

i have since , had the carpet fitters out today , for the 3rd time , and this time they have finally completed the simple job that they were paid to do in the 1st place , but my last review still stands , dont go to a place that takes 3 times to get it right , after i had to complain , again , hope this helps for other people who are thinking of useing this place , dont worry this is my last review of southern cross carpets .............................

further to my review dated 11/07/2010 , i want to withdraw my review , the carpet place southern cross are still a place for reasonable priced carpet , but after haveing the people out who lay the actual carpet itself , i found them to be less than profesional , the job they came to do was carpet laying 101, but to my surprise 4 people turned up to do a simple carpet joining job , 2 goofy kids an older goofy man , and another man named mark , after not really knowing why they were here , 3 of them proceeded to stand about why 1 of them very hurriedly got on with the job , and what a truly crappy job he did to , after then trying to say said crappy job would blend in after a while........ by this time my wife and i just wanted them to go , so as to get actual profesionals in , as i knew myself after being in the carpet trade what a bad job they did , so i just want to say beware of southern cross carpets contract carpet fitters , they are bad , and as far as im concerned have made southern cross carpets a place my wife and i would never buy from again , and before this farce of a job , we were loyal customers for ten yrs , so i hope this helps people who are looking to get carpet fitted from southern cross carpets langley mill...................... dont do it .....................
