Terrible
Terrible. This person left my Wife and I with an unfinished loft conversion, that has since cost us over a £1000 to have repaired/rectified. We had nothing but excuses during the contract (quoted at 4 week turnaround, took over 10 weeks) He carried out ILLEGAL and unsafe Gas pipework, caused damage, leaks and no end of mess. He has since been reported to the Gas Safe Register and The HSE. He has also had his details passed to Channel 5's Cowboy Builders programme. I returned home on the night of 11.12.2013 to find the pipework he had fitted leaking, subsequently soaking the mattresses of my children's beds and, after having drained down the system myself to further minimise damage, leaving me with no heating and two small children 'put to bed' on the sofa under THREE duvets due to the sub zero temperatures of said evening. He claims to be a trained Joiner. The staircase he 'built' was propped up by a piece of 2x2 after collapsing when his plasterer was walking up it. We had NO properly fitted roof on the Dormer window for weeks and as a result regularly had water pouring in onto flooring, wiring and eventually fresh plaster. Anyone wishing to see photographic evidence of the bodge job carried out by this clown can contact me at dlbw21@gmail.com He advertises himself as a Builder, to be honest, people would get a more accurate impression if he wore a 10 Gallon hat and had arrows stuck out of the side of his van!! Save yourself hassle and expense. AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! He only gets ONE Star because you CAN'T put a minus number. Minus 100%
