They breed and sell kittens when the RSPCA is just down the road

It's awful. They don't even make sure the cats will go to a good home. I hate this pet shop. I asked for 2 female guinea pigs a few years back and got two males. The whole shop absolutely stinks and now they're breeding cats when there are kittens dying in shelters due to lack of homes! Absolutely ridiculous. Be a responsible pet owner and ADOPT instead of supporting these people who have no idea what they're even doing.

From the outside Lovejoys looks like a good pet shop. The attractive painting of parrots, rabbits and other pets give it a good look as do the good number of bird and small pet cages dispalyed in the shop windows.Upon entering the shop does look a bit shaby noting shines or looks well kept really although it is not dirty. You are greeted with the sound of birds which on my visit included some cockatiels, budgies and lovebirds. The other naimls included some kittens, hamsters, gerbils and guinea pigs and a few tanks containg fish and small reptiles. All the animals whre kept clean and had good clean food and water. The products they sell is limited due to the shop being small but basic feed, bedding and toys for all typical household pets are for sale.
