We have stayed at Church Farm B&B a few times now. We found the owners to be very polite and easy to talk to. The accomodation we found to be comfortable for our needs. There is a good choice for breakfast, and the owners will try and cater for other diets with prior agreement.( We did and have always had a television remote) and find all amenities to be quite servicable and clean.

On no account stay here unless you like mould round the window and rust in the sink. A business trip brought me to the area and I made the mistake of not doing any research on the internet. I had a meeting the next morning and business commitments meant I wasn't able to phone up for a couple of days. Here are the points I raised and the reaction. Mould round the window and rust in the sink – mentioned at least six times and not once acknowledged. This issue was evaded. ACTION – reported to trading standards who have referred to Environmental Health. No remote for the TV – We don't provide one because people steal them Controls for the TV cellotaped up – People push the controls too hard which breaks the TV Breakfast – you get what is served, it was my fault that I didn't ask what was for breakfast. The choice was “do you want cooked breakfast" Breakfast – No offer of brown or white bread Payment up front (£30) – “We do this because in the past we have had people climb out of window so they don't have to pay" General state of the room – “the room was recently trashed" (I was in room 7 and there were 2 other guests staying – just how many rooms were trashed? And why are you putting guests in them?) These are people who haven't got the faintest idea of how to run a B&B. Do not stay here, you wouldn't believe the photo's.
