Good VFM
Elegant yes, but jaded, spacious yes but in need of decoration, great location and parking, needs £9m Shearings plan to spend! Nice spa and gym area if its raining in Harrogate!

Good, well-located hotel
I stayed in this hotel in May as I was attending a conference in the Conference Centre across the road. The location was spot-on! My comfortable double room cost 50 GBP a night and that included breakfast and 3-course dinner. There were no restrictions on what I could chose from the dinner menu. There was a gym but I didn't use it. Don't be put off by the slightly shabby external appearance of this hotel - it was very comfortable and suited my needs. I could only get a weak wireless signal in my bedroom but the connection was much better in the lobby. Friendly staff made my stay very satisfactory.
