i go to mercy regularly. on a thursday night there is no better place to be. free entry for students and awesome floorfilling music. great atmosphere and decor. huge fast-moving bar, on the whole, and cheap to boot! no club in norwich comes close to being as brilliant as Mercy. p.s "DAvid B" is obviously too old and too grumpy to appreciate the wonderful Mercy. "OH UEA!!!"

MERCY

Great music, cheap drinks and a fantastic dancefloor. Mercy is a definite place to visit whilst you're in Norwich. Alchopops are £1.25 before 12am if you ask for a VS, and the bar staff are often scantily dressed. A smoking area is provided and there are two sections of the club. Upstairs for the indie music and downstairs for the more r&b, dance and electronica. What once used to be an old theatre house, is now an impressive club. Drinks are barred from the dancefloor, which is a blessing considering how long it takes to get ready, just to have someone to poor beer down your new top. The toilets are kept clean and are very chic. A definite place to go and boogie with your mates.

Mercy by name.....

Needless to say, I only went to Mercy once. From the moment you arrive and are faced with the menacing door staff you know that you are in for a long evening. The music was deafening and awful to boot. The price on the door and at the bar was simply ludicrous. I'd give Mercy a wide berth.

A good choice for a night out in Norwich

Service

This is a 'commercial' club and is probably how you would expect a club like this to be. The syle is trendy and modern. The music style is 'popular, commercial dance'. They have different themed nights so there is something for everyone, inc nights where they will be playing a mixture of RnB, old skool and commercial dance. There are several bars and a large dancefloor with a balcony above it. Upstairs there are several seats in which you can rest if youv'e tired yourself out dancing the night away. The prices are average for this area. As with any club like this if its what you are looking for and you are with friends you will have a good night out. =]
