Playtime Nursery 3 months - 5 years

At Playtime Nursery we fully consider that every baby and child deserves the best possible start in life. Choosing the appropriate childcare that suits you and your child is one of the most important decisions that you will make in your child's early years.
Purposeful play is important and we will create an environment with ample resources to provide active learning where children will develop their skills through having fun. There will be lots of opportunities to make choices and we also incorporate the child's own ideas and thoughts in our curriculum plans. This is all recorded and logged in our assessments on each child. We provide a progress check between the age of 2-3 years which details a summary of your child's development. The next milestone in your child's life will then be going to 'Big School'. We continue the support for both parents and children by helping with their independence, alleviating any concerns or worries to make this transition as smooth and exciting as possible.

We will liaise with the chosen school and invite them to visit Playtime, we will provide a through transition report along with a farewell graduation party and celebration.
