About Us

Performance & Road Tyres is an independent, new tyre specialist based in Liverpool city centre (within L1, Baltic triangle) we are a family run business with customer convenience and satisfaction at the top of priority list. Our aim is to ensure every customer leaves happy as we believe this is key to maintain a successful business. We only sell new tyres as we believe part worn tyres don't represent true value for money, not to mention the safety aspects. All our prices shown are all inclusive with no hidden extras as we aim to be transparent and don't do hidden extras.

We specialise in the supply and fit of motorcycle tyres offering expert advice on most brands and fitments ensuring you as the customer get the most out of your tyres and more importantly lean angle depending which way you look at it. If we don't have your chosen tyre on the shelf we can usually source it for next day fitting or at your convenience. Alongside our tyre fitting service we are also operate a dedicated MOT and service bay for motorcycles. There's not much we can't do apart from engine tuning, however we know a man that can. We have a pricing menu for normal servicing and a competitive labour rate of £25 per hour for any services which aren't listed on our workshop page.

Car tyres are also stocked in house with our brand of choice being Landsail. These tyres offer a quality, cost effective alternative to premium branded tyres whilst maintaining the performance and excellent wear rates that you expect from a premium brand. Well rest assured we wouldn't stock a brand which we aren't prepared to use ourselves – the reviews speak for themselves. Premium car tyre brands are available with a same day fitting by phone if ordered before 1pm with delivery between 2-3 working days. Due to our city centre location we are perfectly positioned to supply city centre workers and the surrounding areas with new tyres and other vehicle related services, Utilising a two post ramp to carry out car vehicle servicing and repairs, ranging from brake pads to minor mechanical repairs.

Puncture repairs are also available for car and motorcycle tyres, providing the repair is central to the tyre. A maximum of 3 repairs are allowed per tyre.

The garage is also home to PR Racing, BSB team. PR Racing have been around the British superbike paddock for over a decade, starting at Club level back in 1992 at Aintree race circuit. Along the way the team has won various championships at national level in the 600cc and 1000cc respectively. The team also contests the isle of man TT with strong results in recent years. Due to our background in racing we have built up strong relationships with our performance parts suppliers and now offer their products on our online shop. Everything we use is put to the test so we are confident the brands we use are more than capable for your road or track machine.

Race bike build and preparation is also available with work being carried out by our race team.
