Went to Mayur for a cosy dinner. The ambience was great. What a decor. Not the usual curry house. It looked and felt graceful. Starters -Burrah Champ (Lamb Chop) was better than any thing I had tasted. The service was a bit slow as it was very busy with some large groups. Main course - Patrani Macchi (Seabaas-steamed in banana leaves with spices) was really healthy option. Nothing great about dessert - the usual kulfi and indian sweets though presentation was very good. The coffee served in good cups was really good. Extensive drink and wine menu.

over priced - food standard is an absolute disgrace to who ever the chefs are - just not a good standard of indian food - service as well i ordered a chicken tikka masala and ended up with a chicken jalfrezi (no idea how that happened) and when i asked to changed it they argued and said no this is what you ordered - totally unacceptable
