Rude, too busy to answer the phone & liars

Having rented a van from freeway on Friday afternoon, when I turned up to collect I was ignored for 20 minutes by the proprietor. Granted he was serving others but a quick acknowledgement & I'll be with you as soon as possible etc would have gone a very long way! On returning the following day, looking like we were cutting the closing time deadline a bit fine, tried to call the office. No one answered for 2 hrs. On making it by the skin of our teeth the same lovely man told us they had better things to do on a Saturday afternoon than answer the phone. I then asked for my deposit to be refunded there & then after the inspection.... Was told this couldn't happen til Monday. Rang Monday & Wednesday still no refund. Called into the office on the Thursday to be told it had been sent. When I asked for proof the lovely man tried to remind me from the premises... I say tried, eventually his assistant showed me the credit card refund voucher showing that it has just been done (3days after they said it would be, 5 days after returning the vehicle) ... Apparently I'm now barred and "will never rent a van in Leicester Again!!" They're cheap, the vans are good, but its all very fawlty towers!!!
