The Avenue Private Day Nursery is a family run business housed in two buildings, a converted church and a Sunday school based in Leigh, Lancashire. One building accommodates a 16 place funded pre-school group and alongside this group we offer a before and after school club in term time together with a holiday club. The other building accommodates up to 71 children 0-5 years, in five groups. We are within walking distance of Leigh town centre, within 5 minutes of most major bus routes and a few minutes from local schools. We are committed to professional excellence and the Manager holds a ba Honours in Early Years Leadership as well as Early Years Professional Status. One Practioner holds nvq level 5 and four practitioners hold nvq level 4 and all other practitioners hold nvq level 3 qualifications. Each member of our team is First Aid qualified and has been trained in Safeguarding Children and Health and Safety practices.
