Me and my partner ate at the Bayleaf recentley and must say it was the best meal we have had in Medway. The food was brilliant, the service was 11/10 and it is one of few restaurants that actually serve cobra on the tap. In reference to the comment below i went for the nan and thought its was very good and my partner went for the Roti (tandoori) which was even better. On previous visits i had tried the Chilli nan which is also brilliant. This is a must visit for anyone interested in indian cuisine

The Bay Leaf is a fairly new Indian Restaurant in Hempstead.Knowing that I would want a take-away on evening I picked up a menu when passing on evening. The restaurant due to the early hour looked clean and well laid out.I called a few night later and was told that it was delivery only, no collection. Not an issue and delivery was very swift. I had gone for my ‘usual' chicken dansak, pilau rice and a nan.All was fresh and hot. The nan, was ok but reminded me of one from Marks & Spencer. It was good but not as good as some of the local competition. I will, however, give the restaurant a visit on night as it is it walking distance (just) and try something different as they do have some interesting fish dishes which could make it stand out from the competition. Watch this space!
