Pitstop Motorist Centre is an independent family run garage, owned by Steve McLellan, who has over 34 years experience in car service repairs and maintenance all undertaken to the highest possible standards. Our garage provides M.O.T services and is based in the Stevenage area covering the surrounding areas of Hitchin and Letchworth as well. At Pitstop, Stevenage our M.O.T, car service and maintenance programs equals and exceeds manufacturers recommended procedures.
We offer a complete quality car service including car repairs as well as providing parts, tyres and exhausts all at competitive prices. As well as our car service we also offer a full M.O.T for all makes and models of cars including light commercial vehicles.
At Pitstop, we are also a DELPHI APPROVED Service centre, which means that we have the knowledge and expertise to deal with all your air-conditioning needs. All our work is undertaken by our fully qualified and skilled staff to ensure all our work is of the highest possible standards.

Ripped off
I've been going to this garage for a number of years and have previously found them honest and reliable. However just recently I was having some other work done on the car and I asked if they could reset a fault indicator light as I didn't have a console, and got ripped off £40+VAT for that 2-minute job. I could have bought my own console for less than that! Needless to say they've lost a customer and I'll be taking my future motoring business elsewhere.
