The Phoenix Players, Portsmouth is an amateur dramatic society which produces a variety of 3-4 shows a year. We are always looking for new members!
We are an amateur dramatic society established in 1953. We perform three productions a year, ranging from Comedy, Drama, and of course our annual Pantomime. We also hold Improv Workshops.

Theatre and Shows
I have been to the theatre at St Peter's for a number of years and enjoy the experience every time. Though it may be in need of upgrading the facilities it has an atmostphere all of it's own. The Phoenix Players have been performing long before I have started seeing them since 1953 and I have been to see most of there shows. They bring life back into the community every time they perform. I think the theatre and the users of the theatre have a great deal to offer and I hope they continue to perform for a very long time to come.
