Terrible experience
After doing a lot of work for us last year, lots of things have since become faulty and, despite weeks of chasing, no one will come out to fix/repair these things. Matt painted an external wooden door with masonry paint we had in the garage and because it wasn't treated properly, it has warped & paint rippled and cracked. I've sent a photo to MK Building Contractors but no one will do anything about it. The bi-fold doors they installed have never opened smoothly and stopped opening altogether this summer. The manufacturer said this was because they weren't hung properly. The cupboard front for our dishwasher came loose causing the dishwasher to leak. We removed it and could see that a mess was made when they screwed it on, meaning it now needs to be replaced as can't be re-fixed. Howdens will not replaced it free of charge (as under a year old) because it looks like it's been tampered with. This is now our problem!! We are either ignored by MK Building Contractors or fobbed off. Also, last year Matt kept no record of the works being done and the costs and ended up asking us for the records we had been keeping!! A really poor way to 'run' a business and terrible customer service.
