Welcome
I have over 20 years experience in catering and have run a small catering business for the past 10 years. I can offer catering for parties, weddings, business meetings etc.Providing sandwich lunches, finger buffet, cold fork buffet, hot meals free local delivered to your premises. Menu available on request. I also regularly teach, Level 2 Food safety in Catering which I am registered with CIEH Company.

Lovely food and great service
Karen provided a lovely finger buffet for our daughters dedication. The food was excellent and many of our friends commented on the high standard of the buffet. She accomodated changes in the menu due to allergies with no difficulty. We would recommend Karen's catering very highly.

Stressbuster
Having enjoyed 2 of Karen's previous buffets, we had no hesitation in booking her for my mother's 90th. Was stricken to hear that the date clashed with a previous booking. However, with a few tweaks, she fitted us in and I was so glad. The food and presentation are outstanding and many of our guests asked for details, while I was able to enjoy the party without the stress of all the preparation. Thankyou, thankyou. Gillian

Highly recommended
I booked Karen to provide a finger buffet for the 38 guests coming to my baby's Christening party after I was so impressed with her catering for my late uncle's funeral wake. She did not disappoint - the quality of her food is superb and she even laid it all for us, which was greatly appreciated as we were busy trying to get a wriggly four month old into her gown! Many thanks Karen - I'm recommending you to everyone I know!!

Fabulous food, first rate service
Karen's catering is superb. The presentation of the food was of the highest standard. Karen delivered a timely and delicious finger buffet for our party recently. The food looked and tasted delicious and all our guests commented positively on the wonderful spread Karen had provided for us, not to mention it took the strain off me having to do it myself. Many thanks Karen for your care and expertise on making our party very special.

High quality, professional & personalised catering service
Karen, thanks again providing a wonderful meal and making our wedding a day to remember. We had alot of positive comments about the meal from our guest. The high quality & the service. You especially worked extremely hard with all the challenges we put in front of you (there were alot) and nothing was too much trouble for you. It took a weight of our shoulders to beable to leave the catering in your hands and not to have any worries. Your advice and support was invaluable.

Just Excellent
We booked Karen to provide the catering at a business event for 45 people, not only was the food excellent but she was most helpful in laying it up whilst we were still in the meeting. Many of my team stated that the food was so much better than the hotels we have used before. WE Shall use Karen again

We asked Karen to prepare a buffet for our father's 90th Birthday Bash. I had previously attended a couple of work functions catered by Karen and had been impressed by the variety of food on offer. The buffet for the party was a great success and enjoyed by all - so colourful with the fruit and crudites- the sandwiches were fresh and the potato skins still hot - and the cakes were wonderful. My sister and I had to hide a favourite each to make sure we got one! Karen reminded us of food hygiene issues and told us she teaches this and has the relevant food hygiene certificate. Karen offered a great variety which was tailored to our needs including traditional English buffet food for the older members of our group and vegetarian options too. As you can probably guess I would have no hesitation in recommending her for any function.

Absolutely excellent in all aspects
We used Karen Higham to prepare the finger buffet for the gathering following our mother's funeral. The presentation and the food itself was of such a high standard that even weeks following the funeral, people are still passing on their comments to us. We would highly recomment Karen to anybody, for any type of function and we would like to thank her very much for the personal touches that was not expected of her.

First Class Catering

Finger Buffett - Recommended
I found Karen via touchlocal and after reading the past reviews and speaking with Karen I decided to use her for a lunchtime works 'finger buffett' for a leaving function. I was not dissappointed, Karen was friendly and happy to meet our needs, the buffett was delivered on time, of good quality and variety, plentiful, nicely presented and was well received (eaten) by all our staff. I have no hesitation in recommeneding Karen and will use her again.

Excellent catering
Karen provided the finger buffet for our Ruby Anniversary party and did an excellent job. The food was varied and delicious and beautifully presented, in fact one of the best buffets I have ever tasted. It was also delivered punctually and with no fuss or disruption to the procedings. What more could we ask! I will definitely book Karen again for future parties, and would recommend her to anyone. Like the previous reviewer I found Karen on the internet and booked her on the strength of these reviews. You can be confident about doing the same, you won't be disappointed.

Highly Recommended -Great food
I found Karen on the internet,, I read these reviews and was impressed I asked her to cater for my 60th birthday party. Now I hadn't heard of Karen although she was very local to me, so I was a little unsure about the standard of catering or if there would be enough food. However I needn't have worried as the food was excellent and there was plenty of it ! Infact every one at the party asked who had done it and wasn't it wonderful. So thank you Karen I couldn't have chosen better. So if your reading these reviews, don't have doubts just book her!!

Excellent Service
We had Karen provide the starter and main course for our wedding. Karen was very accommodating from the start and helped us over and above what we expected. The food was excellent and service was very smooth and well organized. She helped to make our day run perfectly. I would recommend her services to anyone as she is professional and helpful with a high standard of presentation and quality.

Wonderful Food and Service - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
We required a buffet for our staff christmas party. I found Karen in touchlocal and was impressed by the reviews. Karen lived up to the reviews and more! At our parties the same people moan every year about the quantity, quality, vegetarian selection etc. This year there was not a single complaint from anyone just lots and lots of compliments! The food was delicious and beautifully presented, with a wide selection for all. We we were all extremely happy with everything. I shall definitely be requiring Karen's excellent service again.

Regents Park School Conference 7th December 2007
Karen provided the buffet lunch for 75 Headteachers and Deputy Heads attending a ntional conference at Regents Park Community College, Southampton. We were able to pick a varied range of sandwiches and buffet items catering for all dietary needs. The food arrived on serving platers on time and excellently presented, she also provided crockery at a very reasonable price The evaluation from the day rated the catering at good or excellent. We will certainly use Karen again and have been asked for her contact details by a number of local schools.

Inset Day Buffet
Karen supplied the finger buffet for our school inset day - it was fantastic! The variety and quality of the food was first class, everyone said it was the best buffet they had tasted. We would highly recommend Karen for your function.

Fantastic Wedding Breakfast!
Karen Higham and team provided an excellent service for our wedding breakfast, drinks and evening buffet. The food was fantastic and the service very professional from our first meeting through to the day. Karen had it all covered and was very helpful in helping us to decide what we wanted. She definately devliered on all of this and we were impressed as were our guests! Obviously we are not planning another wedding but we would use her again for any other functions. Highly recommended and affordable.

Excellent Service and Great Food
I've used "Karen Higham Catering" for a number of events, and attended others and I've found that the food is of a consistently high standard with excellent presentation and that the service is very flexible and adaptable too. I have had cheap bagged lunches for 300 students to sit-down meals for a few dozen and fork buffets for conferences. Karen also runs food hygiene courses, so that's a good reason for confidence!
