We promote an ethos of equal opportunities for all within the Park Day Nursery.
Park Day Nursery & Pre-school Ltd was established in 1996 and is situated in the centre of Stubbington village, which is easily accessible from Fareham, Lee-on-Solent, and Gosport.
The Nursery occupies seven designated rooms and a garden within Crofton Community Centre.
We care for a maximum of 40 children between the ages of 3 months – 5 years.
Our small size allows us to provide a warm, friendly and homely atmosphere for both children and parents alike, we try to be an extension of your home.
We are registered by Ofsted and follow their guidelines without exception.
Since opening we have built up an excellent reputation for the quality of our childcare and education and we work very hard to ensure the service we offer is the best in the area.
The children can enjoy a full range of outdoor activities in the well resourced fully enclosed garden.
We encourage outdoor play all year round and provide waterproof suits to ensure they can enjoy the garden rain or shine. Because of the close proximity to the village we like to explore the local amenities including the village shops, library and park.
We are a professional nursery with qualified staff that provide secure, safe, sensitive care in a stimulating, fun, learning environment, fulfilling our goal to support children's need to be lifelong learners.
The nursery curriculum follows the government framework, the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). It's purpose is to ensure that children are provided with a rich learning experience, tailored to their individual needs whilst being cared for in a happy, safe secure environment.
The four main principals of the EYFS are: A unique child, Positive Relationships, Enabling Environments and Learning & Development, applied to these are the seven areas of learning:
Each child has a journal in which we record their progress and next steps in each area of learning, this helps us to identify individual developmental needs and to plan activities designed to address these areas.
