alison's bookshop and musicroom is a simply an amazing and interesting shop with a vast range of titles and genres, plus classical CDs, sheet music, 'the best' cards and music accessories.
In this beautiful Georgian building full of nooks and crannies and places to sit you can happily indulge your love of books and reading. There are 2 floors in which to roam or rest and to stay a while.
The owner of this lovely independent shop is Ian Nicholson and he and helpful, knowledgeable staff will help with recommendations and advice if you should need it.
