Sometimes referred to as a place to "Grab-a-Granny" by the younger crowd, due to the fact that you have to be over 25 to get in!I am 25 and can assure you that I am certainly not a Granny!Does this sound like your idea of a night of fun...?"Dressing up a-la Jodie Marsh and allowing 18 year old "boys" to touch you up as you wrestle your way to the bar where you have to queue for 25 minutes and have to yell at the top of your voice to get your order across to the bar staff due to the deafening cheesy music?"If so Storm IS NOT for you!Dont get me wrong they have some great nights (hedKandi!) and some good drinks promotions, but due to the ahem, Granny-like nature of us over 25's it is a bit more of a laid back atmosphere. Not everyone's goal is life is to pull! Some people just want a decent place with decent music to go to with thie mates and that is what Storm offers!

maybe a Drizzle
The night I frequented this establishment. A Friday night I might had. It was hardly a Storm. Arriving at 11:30 and paying £6 entrance (as opposed to the £5 advertised on their site). The place was half empty and the music, although tastes vary, was sadly lacking. One good point though it wasn't too loud. Actually there was more than one good point. The staff were friendly and their were no bolshy blokes around. Quite an 'old' crowd. Old being used loosely as by old I mean late 20s.So although I nearly left as soon as I arrived I decided to 'give it a go' and didn't have a bad evening at all.I believe my disappoint was due to high expectations
