Christopher J Vinten - Contemporary Jewellery To Value Forever

We are both a Retail Jewellers and a Jewellery Design & Manufacturer. We have an onsite workshop where we produce fabulous one-off designs as well as a comprehensive jewellery repair service. We also offer an onsite Engraving service. As Registered Valuers, we can provide Valuations for Insurance or Probate, along with Post Loss Estimates.

What We Do

C J Vinten Goldsmiths have been established in Leigh Road since 1983. A family run business with an on-site workshop where bespoke pieces are designed and hand crafted by three talented craftsmen. The showroom houses a comprehensive array of jewellery made in silver, gold, palladium and platinum and set with both semi precious and precious stones. We have a full range of engagement, wedding and eterntiy rings along with an extensive collection of silver, antique, recycled, mens and childrens jewellery. There is a dedicated pearl cabinet displaying inexpensive freshwater pearls to high-end cultured pearls. The mix of jewellery covers all tastes, from traditional to contemporary. We specialise in melting & recycling old unloved items of jewellery to create a heirlooms of the future. Christopher is a Registered Valuer and provides Valuations for Insurance as well as Post Loss Insurance Estimates. We have a Polishing Shop where customers can have their jewellery cleaned and re-plated along with a full jewellery repair and watch battery replacement service. We also have an engraver on the premises. Ear piercing is available upon request.
