There is something strange happening every time I go to Brighton. I just have to visit La Strada. The second thing is that I always order the same exact plates: Pesto et Pomodoro for a starter (very good!!!) and Pollo con Funghi for main course... I have tried several salads as well which are ok. What is strange about it is that nothing really excites me in this place more than other Italian restaurants. The environment is fine although it sometimes gathers older ages, it has a really nice view of the Pavilion which is excellent in the summer, the food is very good and the portions are ok. I find it a bit expensive but it is worth the money. Everything seems ok so far but nothing really special... The real reason why I have to visit this place is Fondente Al Cacao...After the previously mentioned plates I order a Fondente al Cacao which is the best dessert I have ever tasted...I am a big fun of chocolate and it is the only desert I found to totally fulfil my desire for chocolate. I don't need any other reason to visit La Strada, and that is why all the rest aspects about the restaurant don't seem to matter so much.Of course there is a different section that you can enjoy your desert with a coffee but I always think that chocolate tastes much better after food.

Straightforward Italian food. Nice, really thin and crispy pizzas. Nice place too, it is divided up nicely and gives an air of intimacy even though it is quite large. Not a lot of choice for vegetarians though.
