My name is Giles Henwood. I live in Exeter with my family. I have a passion for painting and decorating and when not at work I am often found decorating at home! I have worked in the painting and decorating trade for over 18 years. 10 years of which with an Exeter based decorating company, with the last 10 years being self-employed. I am City and Guilds qualified.

Most of my work comes through word of mouth, which hopefully speaks for itself! I am reliable and flexible, able to work weekends and evenings by arrangement. I have also undertaken other duties whilst decorating such as watering the plants and feeding the pets whilst customers are on holiday! I am meticulous in my work as I believe in attention to detail, and in using trade quality paints which then gives a high quality finish. My customers are always happy with the work so I have been back to do further jobs for many of them.

I offer a prompt, professional and reliable service, based in Exeter, but cover most areas of Devon.
I am fully insured and am City & Guilds qualified.
I offer free quotes and advice and I always use only quality trade material.
I cover domestic and commercial work, from large jobs to very small and do interior and exterior work from period properties to new builds.
I am also happy to get scaffolding and other trade quotes as part of my service, although I am happy to do any small carpentry repairs myself.
I always clean up and take away materials at the end of a job and at the end of each day.
