Ever wondered who's writing a company's review. Friends, family, the owner? Do internet search. Company set up 18/09/12 , note the dates of some reviews. Try to get a personal recommendation when choosing an electrician. Very polite when giving estimate. All conmen are. Be wary. Be very, very wary.

Excellent Service
We'd been receiving electric shocks from the sink in the kitchens and needed to get the electrics checked over. We were aware of some of the cowboys out there trading so did our homework before contacting Stator Electrical - Everything just seemed right from the first phone call to completion of the work required and we were very impressed. Will definitely use them again! Thanks

Would recommend to anyone
We had moved house and wanted some things adding/changing. We also suspected some electrical problems. Stator turned up when they said they would and carried out some inspections and testing. Then we were advised of the issues provided with quotes before all the work was completed. Happy to recommend.

Excellent Company - Would definitely recommend
Internal lights (LED MR16's) and some sockets had stopped working. Outside stables had a PIR sensor fixed and another installed. House PIR needed an over-ride off switch. A very good job done by Stator, and with great speed - highly recommended and we'll ask again next time we need something doing.

An excellent service
We called Stator when the downstairs socket circuit stopped working and we couldn't reset the circuit breaker or RCD. An engineer came to our property the same day and carried out some testing to find the problem - it was then repaired and everything is working again. The engineer was very professional and explained everything so we knew what was happening - All this at a very reasonable price!

Reliable and honest

Substantial rewire of 1900 house
I used Carl to substantially rewire a 1900 semi in Sneinton, Nottingham. He installed a new consumer unit, a new kitchen circuit, added upwards of 12 new power points, and ensured that all the existing electrics were safe and worked properly. Carl has worked at a local college teaching electrical engineering, so he is at the other end of the scale to a cowboy. Having said that his prices seemed very reasonable, and he did exactly what he promised to do. There were no surprises. I can recommend his work without reservation.

When we had an extension built to the side and rear of our house Stator came to do the electrical work. We asked them to supply and install some special lights, switches and sockets we had seen which was no problem. They even did everything for the air conditioning system. We also wanted to be able to have our TV's show all of the SKY channels so they wired that system for us too! Many thanks, and we'll be in touch if we need anything doing in the future.
