Home to thought-provoking theatre, magic music, side-splitting comedy and exciting exhibitions, the Brewery Arts Centre is the cultural hub of South Lakeland.
The Brewery boasts mainstream and arthouse cinemas, real-ale pub, tapas restaurant, vibrant café and beautiful gardens making it Kendal's number one entertainment destination all-year-round.
The centre plays host to several major festivals during the year including the Freerange Comedy Festival, Kendal Mountain Festival and the Lakes International Comic Art Festival.
The Brewery is also well-known for its visual arts programme which includes the prestigious bi-annual Open Up North competition and it has three gallery spaces which display work by cutting edge artists from across the UK.
