Park Road cattery

Left our 2 cats here for 2 weeks. Were greeted by owner when we dropped them off and she took appropriate details from us reiterating that we were to pay by cash as cards and cheques were not accepted. This was our first time at this cattery for both cats who are Ragdoll and so used to being indoors.. On seeing where they would be staying we were reminded by the owner again that she only took cash. Two weeks later we returned and was immediately met by the owner who stated " give me the money and you can see the cats " It was said in a nonchalant manner. We took the cats,and took them home. Both cats stink of urine,it was evident that the cat carrier we had transported them in had been their bed for the last two weeks as they were caked in hairs and litter. They had lost weight which I did expect but the most distressing thing was that their claws were totally overgrown which to me indicates no scratching post was available. We were let down last minute as both cats were due to stay with friends so we did ring around a few catteries but they were obviously booked up. Park Road was not. The mercenary owner,the poor accommodation and general overall experience was truly dreadful and I will be taking this further.
