An Unpleasant Experience

I recently purchased a fogger unit for my chameleon. Unfortunately the unit has stopped working only just under 2 months of owning it. I took it back to the shop for an exchange to a different type of fogger (as I did not want the same poor quality product again) and they refused a refund and did not have any other units to exchange with. The staff in the shop although initially friendly soon turned abrupt and awkward. They phoned through to their other shop as the owner was away, and the lady at the other shop asked to speak to me. She was very rude and would not listen to the problem posed to who and started saying that under the trade description act they had to return it to the manufacturer to determine the problem with them unit. This is not very acceptable as it means my chameleons health would have suffered without the fogger as she needs the higher humidity that the fogger (when working) provides. I was surprised that they had no interest in the welfare of my chameleon as they seemed to be very helpful when I first bought the fogger. Anyhow, the point is that I have now had to buy a different fogger from a more reputable dealer (they didn't have them in stock when I purchased the first one) and the owner of he Reptile Hotel Craig, has now told me to take him to court. So that is what I am going to do. Overall a very unpleasant experience from what seemed, at first to be a good experience.
