Very bad service from the owners

We have just returned from a wedding in Cornwall where most of the guests stayed here and also the evening reception. On the first night we returned from the local pub (great food there) at just before 11pm and asked the owner if we could have a drink. We were told we could have a quick one but he had a late night the next night! - this would be the wedding reception that we were all going too. Not a good start. On the day of the wedding we went to have a shower at 11.30am, an hour and a half before the wedding and there was no hot water. On phoning the owner we were told that he had turned the boilers off at 10am. After a number of discussions about this with him during the stay we were simply told that he had not had a problem before and we should have had a shower and got ready before breakfast! Then we could have waited 4 hours dressed up. Breakfast is also hit and miss with tiny portions of fish and one poached egg if you choose this option. the continental breakfast is not recommended with solid croissants that are impossible to eat! Al is all the attitude of the owner and his wife is appaulling (the other staff, however are lovely)and they simply walked away when we were trying to discuss our problems. For the price of the room you would expect a nice bathroom but it is an extremely old fashioned one. From visiting the area now I would recommend the local b&bs at a fraction of the price.
