When I was approached about this I was skeptical, but liked the idea in principal. I checked it out and decided to get involved, but didn't know what school to sponsor. One was suggested and we duly signed up for the Gold package. I have to say that all through the process the staff were helpful and polite and we have just agreed to sponsor them again.

Been ripped off by scam charities in the past and was very reluctant to get involved. But they sounded genuine, and i'm pleased to say that I think they are. We got a nice letter from the school I nominated to thank me for providing the packs through Kidsafe, so no complaints at all

I have supported the Kidsafe organization on a number of occasions over the last 4/5 years and always found them to be exemplary in their approach and they have always delivered what they have promised. I would have no hesitation in recommending you support them too if you are able to.

My Son's school loved the games

I was contacted by Kidsafe and asked if I would sponsor the supply of gamespacks to schools. I agreed and paid £209 for packs to be sent to my boys primary school. I spoke to his teacher after they had used the games and she said how much fun the children had had, and that being a board game, they were very enthusiastic about playing them in class. I have since played the game at home with my son and I can see why they enjoyed it. I think that this is a very unique approach to keeping children safer and am happy for my company to be supporting the initiative.

Basic economics should tell you its a scam

As a new business I just received a call from these people asking if I would like to support the local schools from a guy called Jeff who claimed he was the local Health and Safety Officer. The number was withheld which immediately made me suspicious and he was clearly scripted with all the alarming buzz words regarding to child safety and stranger danger etc. I asked him to call back after I had done my research but even a cursory internet search showed the company to be a bunch of crooks. I can understand people with kids falling for the sales patter but it was clear this was just providing a few cheap cardboard games to the school. The £199 he was asking me to sponsor would probably buy 200 of the things. Where he lost me though was when I asked who paid his wages and he claimed they were all voluntary workers only doing a couple of hours a day. He was a salesman and they don't do voluntary work.

Kidssafe Scam

Service

Also caught out with this kidssafe scam. Kidsafe UK Lancaster is a registered charity. Kidssafe based in Stockport is not and this is who sells the packs. We rang all 3 schools in our area who only received 4 cheap board games, not one per child as promised. Kidsafe Ltd website says "We also aim to be able to provide enough packs through the schools, so that the children can take the packs home and learn with their parents." We are chasing them to have one sent to each child for our money paid as the schools actually don't mind the game but didn't get more than 4! I agree with the last comment. We were not told it was a charity however. We knew it was safety related for kids and parents which is why we took part for our local area to support the larger schools in our area. Kidsafe did claim to us that they were working with the local council and they are not. The schools received a couple of games and the covering letter saying we were the sponsors and would they like more games. However if they ring us we have no games to give them as kidssafe issue the games. We are chasing up as we would like all the schools we sponsored to get their games at the very least!

Its a scam

It's a scam, don't buy any of the products that this company sell. They imply that they are a charity with voluntary workers, they want you to buy a bronze, silver or gold package. The bronze package is £199 with £8.99 postage. They told me that the school would receive 60 board games they only received 12. They are a piece of cheap cardboard. They are not a charity, they are con artists. If you want to donate to a school give directly. Do not give any money!!
