6 Reasons to avoid them:

I would love to give this place a better review but they're dominated by atrocious service. Where to start? My transaction with H.B. has been a nightmare from day one: 1 - They overcharged me by a substantial amount when I paid for my bed. It took some time to finally secure a refund. 2 - The beds are advertised as being "easy to assemble" with the option to have the deliveryman take care of this for you if needs be. Our delivery man told us he didn't know how, after leaving many of the components downstairs (not in our bedroom as advertised.) There were no instructions. 3 - Terrible build quality – few of the parts fit into each other and in several instances were a good few inches too short to reach each other. End result: slept on the floor next to a heap of useless wooden components for several weeks. 4 - Terrible customer support - emails and telephone messages went unanswered; it took several weeks to secure a replacement bed. 5 – Misleading & rude service – We were told our replacement bed would be fully assembled by a new driver. Same guy as before turns up in an unmarked transit, is consistently rude and challenging & goes out to the van "to make calls" during heavy lifting or assembly-related activity. 6 – WHERE are the beds made? – Contrary to the claims made on the website, our delivery man told us that "IT'S MADE IN TAIWAN". Perhaps he was wrong, but it's alarming to hear such wildly differing stories.
