the pizza express in macclesfield is located in the main square near the library and town hall. it is part of a large chain offereing italian food. parking is to the rear or opposite in pay and display car parks. the restaurant is fairly large and can accommodate large groups. the staff are welcoming and attentive, although the service can be a bit slow at times, whci is suprising as it is often very quiet. the food is standard chain fare offering pasta and pizza dishes which are reasonable value. the range of drinks is limited, apart from a fairly good choice of wine. the facilities are very good and the whole place is very clean and pristine. a good choice for a lunch time meal or for an evening out with friends/family.
