About our school

Gainsborough Primary and Nursery school was created in January 2007, following the amalgamation of the old Gainsborough Nursery, Infant and Junior Schools. Extension building work to the existing Junior site was completed in May 2008, enabling all our children to be educated on one site at Belgrave Road. The school has a long history of being very popular within the immediate and wider community. Indeed, pupil numbers are presently at an all-time high with 470 pupils on roll. Many parents were once pupils themselves at the former Gainsborough schools.

Our apologies for not updating the classes this week, our website coordinator is off ill. Hopefully we will be back up and running with our weekly homework and learning on the week beginning the 30th.
