Smokey joes is a long running local business, very popular in and around the area. The club opens Wednesday 9pm - 3am (student night), Friday and Saturdays 9pm - 4am (over 21). The club has a fantastic reputation for offering a brilliant, fun night out. We are also running a brand new ladies night (Friday) once every three months. VIP entry is available with purchase of one of our selected champagnes or spirits (1 bottle per 10 people) also booths are available in the VIP lounge bar, £150 with
Mmmm, when you walk in, you think you're in an 80s time warp where people of all shapes, colours and designs have wandered in. The decor is kitsch Americana - not in a good way (confederate flags), and spit and sawdust. However, go with an open mind and a few drinks in you, and you'll be boogying to the bands and disco before you can say Wham. There seems to be a band most nights, free in before 10, and a chilled out VIP room if you need a change of scene (more noughties).Enjoyable fun, without pretention.

Personally I love it. Yes, it's down and dirty but after you've had a few beers it's really good fun either with a group or your partner. For the entrance you get alcohol absorbing food included if you want it - nothing Gordon Ramsey would be proud of but it does the trick! They have live bands on, mostly doing cover versions but good to dance to. Gets really busy - in fact, one of the few busy places in Maidenhead for people over 18. Can take a while to get to the bar sometime. If just the girls are going, there is an element of the 'meat market' to it but it's all in good fun and harmless enough.
