Renovated, re-designed and re-launched in February 2003, this boutique hotel provides a tranquil and relaxing retreat from the city. Ideally located a mere 45 minutes from central London our 'restaurant with rooms' is situated in the picturesque village of Cookham Dean. This is the second of joint ventures between restaurateur, Mark Fuller and celebrated Chef, Garry Hollihead. Set amongst an acre of beautifully manicured lawns, the Inn`s unassuming country house appearance conceals a sumptuous and sophisticated interior. A warming log fire, the original wood beamed bar, huge red velvet sofas and enormous armchairs all combine to create a traditional feel with a little touch of Louis Vuitton!

The Rooms....

Our nine bedrooms have been thoughtfully designed and decorated; each room is scattered with authentic antiques and contains a unique selection of furniture to match its individual style. All bedrooms have private en-suite bathrooms and are equipped with Sky television, CD and DVD player, direct dial telephone, mini bar along with tea and coffee making facilities. Guests may also indulge in a little pampering by taking advantage of unlimited use of our outdoor hot tub.

The Restaurant....

The wood beamed reception leads into a plush lounge bar perfect for pre-dinner drinks and mingling with fellow guests. This further extends into three interconnecting dining rooms, all individual in style.

The aptly named Lamp Room is modern in design with exposed natural brickwork covering one wall and large vintage mirrored room dividers. It is home to our over-sized wine rack and is beautifully lit by a central chandelier. The adjacent Stublie Room is part of the original building. Reminiscent of Swiss log cabins, it is panelled from floor to ceiling with original wood. The contrasting Conservatory offers a bright and airy atmosphere, which leads onto the Mediterranean-style Courtyard, perfect for whiling away summer afternoons.
