Wetherspoon's usual policy of 'sell it cheap, sell it in high quantity', works a treat here. They break the music policy on Fridays and Saturdays when the place is more often than not ten deep at the bar. Recently it's become a meeting point for the majotiry of 18-25 year old Eastern Europeans in the town and the variety of foreign beers available reflects that.Real ale drinkers should avoid it like the plague, the low turnover of the cask beers means that it's poorly kept and likely to give you stomach trouble. The food is cheap and badly prepared and the chef there seems to take no pride in his/her work. Even the preparation and cooking of a simple burger is well beyond their capabilities. For a Wetherspoon's that supposedly has hourly cleanliness checks, the bathroom facilities are appalling. In summary, a cheap boozer to have a quick couple of liveners but then you'll just want to head off elsewhere.

This place is a bit of a strange one. It has very little natural light, so it always seems pretty dingy in there. A couple of years back it changed from a Wetherspoons to a Lloyds, had a makeover and was reopened with a big drumroll. Thing was, it looked exactly the same as it did when it had been closed down for refurbishment. I've had plenty of good times there. Not sure if they still make you pay to get in on a Friday and Saturday after a certain time, but I always objected to that. It's not worth paying to go into!!

The Whitehouse in Luton is part of the J D Weather spoons and follows the same structure, such as not playing music, as the others around the country. The pub is located in the heart of Luton in the well known Galaxy community centre. The Whitehouse is open seven days a week and on a Friday and Saturday it is open until one o' clock in the morning.Although there are many bars and pubs around the town centre in Luton, The Whitehouse is one of the most popular and is always heaving on a Friday and Saturday night. This is more than likely due to the many special offers they have available on alcoholic drinks. The Whitehouse has many special offers such as doubles for the price of a single for spirits as well as cheap prices for both beer and wine. Although the crowds in the Whitehouse can get quite rowdy the atmosphere is not too bad and as long as you don't get involved you can have a great night out!
