Originally the job was to redo the bathroom. Rip out bath, fit new shower tray and associated plumbing. Fit electric shower and cubicle and vinyl cladding to walls. Toilet and sink to be replaced. Job was meant to be completed within 5 days as quoted by you. However you failed at that point to mention that your assistant could only work 2/3 hours each day. It took one day to do the toilet and another week to do the sink. We are now half way through week 4! job was paid for and I still don't have a working shower as the job basically has not been finished. Plumbing to shower done, electric wiring for shower ended up being done by me. Shower tray fitted but there is no support under 8inches of the shower tray which was built up to accommodate the plumbing. I Now need to arrange for another installer to wire the shower into the PCB board at a cost of £120, which has angered me to say the least. Shower cubicle to be installed by me as this has not been done as agreed. Two vinyl panels not cut to correct length or silconed at the bottom and I will now have to arrange for them to be replaced. I was then asked to pay additional £85.00 for parts which would be fine by me however most plumbing parts were bought by me as and when you requested them or you reused some of the existing parts. Waste pipe , End cap, street elbows, I bought the wood and battening , the cement for the walls and shower tray and silcone. Please provide an itemized bill for the parts you state you have used. Considering the job has not been fully completed. I lost a days wage at £180 this Monday as I had to cancel a very urgent meeting last minuet to stay in as you failed to turn up as promised on Sunday. All in all I am very unhappy. The compensation payment you agreed to pay on Monday was £500 to have some one else finish the job and since then all you have done this week is boarded in the piping and fitted the trap and redone the capping of the hot water pipe. But i still now have to get someone else to finish the job. I have tried to give you the benefit of the doubt. I tried to reason with you earlier and you stated forget the bill for the parts and you would pay me £100 and this would have been acceptable if it had been paid into my account on time as agreed but it has not. Also that does not cover an electrician's hourly rate and call out charge to even wire the shower in to the pcb board. In addition until that is done how do you know that the shower wont leak. Never mind the loss of wages for Monday for both me and Pete. The stress and inconvenience you have caused for the length of time it has taken to get to this point is considerable to say the least. Not being able to have a proper shower or bath is simply not acceptable. I wish i could have given you a better review
