Norma is not alone
My wife took my son to have acupuncture from Mr Harcourt. I found out later that he used to brush is hand across her bottom when she was standing watching.This lead to him having sex with her when she went to to him as a patient to have treatment for a migraine I found this out after a year of her making excuses that she was visiting friends sometimes a couple of times a week but was in fact seeing him for sex after his work. Sadly she thought it was more than it was and this led to the break up of our marriage . She knew that she wasn't the only patient he had done this with but seemed blind to that fact I promised her that I would never confront him but she died over 20 years ago and now that he has passed (I just found this out tonight when I googled him for some reason to see if he was still working at Chipping Sodbury ) I am able to get this of my chest and into the open without breaking my promise

Bully Who Took Advantage
I went to him years ago. He was a good osteopath who made a positive difference to my backache BUT he also acted like the worst kind of male. He had a loud voice and an attitude to women that showed he thought them beneath him. His casual abuse and unnecessary, inappropriate touching was fleeting - a long time ago and I said nothing because he intimidated me. I wanted to ask him why he needed to run his finger under my knicker leg - was he enjoying the power or making an adjustment. It has often bothered me, most likely he forgot all about it. Today, I googled him, thinking to contact or confront him, only to find out he passed in January. I hope the younger generation of osteopaths will have more respect for women
