Best to avoid, I booked a van to help a friend with a house move, but due to them not liking the times I chose, they decided it was better to cancel my booking without informing me, it was only when I rang to confirm they denied ever receiving the booking. I booked with Enterprise, similar price, no unprofessionalism.

Violent thug tried to hit me
He is a thief not to be trusted I’d never recommend to anyone threatend me with violence and did not matter to him I’m registered disabled total knee replacement and I broke my back thieved my Renault master disabled van wanted 1500 of me for damage to his van through a head on collision not my fault other driver was charged with driving without due care and attention and driving using his mobile phone and dangerous driving would not let me claim on his insurance so had to go private Solisator do not trust this idiot over a year and only just getting Physyo now with is going to now take monthes to start feeling better

DO NOT HIRE FROM THESE THUGS!
I have recently hired a van from these, I made a phone call the night before to enquire, the guy I spoke to was very proffessonal, asked me a series of questions which I answered honestly, one being if I had points I advised that I did but they have lapsed, he said that wasn't a problem. I arrived the following morning at 8:30 and was greeted by what only I can describe as a rude, arrogant sexist pig! He took one look at my license and as good as threw it back in face because of the points which are 4 and a half years old by the way! he stated that and I quote "people walking in here thinking I will hire them a van when they are clearly irripsonsible" I explained that I had spoke to someone regarding this, he came back at me with some sarcastic comment. By this point I was getting quite angry myself, he said, "I'll try for you but I know it will say no" I advised him that I do not wish to be tarred with the same brush as other people he may of dealt with, at this he actually began to calm down however, so he continued putting my details into the system, and to his utter amazment the insurance accepted me, he told me its only because i;m a woman and a nurse. I took the van and had no further dealings with him that day, he instructed that I am back the following day between 8-9am. The following day after a couple of minor set backs I arrived back at 8:55, you the usual, traffic problems at that time. He screamed at me, you're late! I responded with its 8:55, you told me to be back between 8-9 and I am! at that he slammed the door in my face and left me to finish off with his 'manager' nice kid but as thick as 2 short planks. What a horrible rude nasty man, I do not care how desperate I ever am I will not use cheeper van hire again, the owner is nothing but a lowlife thug! I will however make it my upmost priority if he is ever admitted onto my ward, repay the favour in full!

great service
I rented a van for a week whilst waiting to purchase a new car. I found the telephone service I received excellent, I told the guy I only wanted the van for 6 days and he advised me that it would be cheaper for me to hire for a week I thought this was very honest of him it would have been very easy for him to to take extra money from me by booking me in for 6 days. When collecting the van the service was very speedy the van was ready for me to take following an inspection of the vehicle both by myself and an employee. I had no problems with the vehicle during the week of hire. I received a courtesy call from them on the day of return. Upon returning the vehicle it was quickly checked over and my refund was processed immediately. I even received a phone call to state that I had left my cup in the van. I found everyone I dealt with at cheaper van hire to be professional, courteous and friendly. I would definately use them again and I would recommend them to anyone

Cheeper van hire are con artists
DO NOT HIRE THEM. They are con artists. Liars and very aggressive uneducated thugs. I hired a van and was led to believe they were closing at 5 and couldn't drop the van off. Even though they closed at 6. They forced me to keep the van over the weekend and charged me and took my deposit for a few smears of dirt. They are basically looking for ways to scam your deposit. DO NOT USE THEM

Cheeper Van Hire - Not so 'cheep' after all!!
Hired the van in July 2012. The van was inspected when first hired and then drove it away for the weekend - all was well. When I came back and I was accused of putting fresh paint on the van to hide new supposed marks which was a surprise especially when the managers assistant is walking around the workshop covered in paint. I did not get my full deposit back - illegitimately. There are local companies out there who will offer you a good cheap deal without being complete 'tools' in the process. Cheeper van hire wasn't so 'cheep' after all.

AVOID CHEEPER VAN HIRE
It MAY sound the cheapest until you find out that you pay the £750 excess if in an accident. And the staff are rude aggressive and generally i think looking for a fight! make sure you check every bit of the van first because they will try and make you lose your deposit.

DONT USE CHEAPER VAN HIRE - THEY ATTACK YOU WITH CROWBARS AND HAMMERS!!!!!
NEVER MAKE THE MISTAKE OF USING THESE COWBOYS. We hired a van on friday 1st July 2011, the van had a roller shutter that was left up by the owners so we thought nothing of it till we got home to load up and found it to be slightly come away on one side. we thought it was so old damage and got on with our day. UPON RETURN THE SCAM BECAME OBVIOUS WHEN THE OWNERS TOOK OUT A HAMMER AND A CROWBAR AND PROCEEDED TO CHASE MY FRIEND OFF IN HIS CAR BY TRYING TO RAM HIM--- IN ONE OF THEIR VANS.... YOU COULDNT HAVE WRITTEN THIS.... I WAS ABUSED AND THE OWNERS SON THREATENED TO KILL ME..... IF I WASNT OWED A DEPOSIT ID HAVE DEALT WITH HIM NO PROBLEM, HOWEVER IT MADE ME WONDER JUST HOW MANY INNOCENT VAN USERS THEY HAVE DONE THIS 2, easy scam jack out part of the roller shutter leave the shutter up when hired knowing that the user wont find out till they pull it down - probably once out of their premises then claim it was the user that did it....... the police were called by myself and my friend who waited around the corner then the premises was surrounded, by that time the idiots had done a dissapearing act. i got my deposit back but only after threatening to press charges for threats to kill DONT USE THEM
