No two sites are the same and each commission merits its own specific response. We believe that only through close collaboration can our clients needs be fully understood and creatively interpreted. Our design solutions draw their inspiration from what is unique and special about the project, the interests of the client, the nature of the brief, the physical context and the way it will be built. At the concept stage, we begin with sketches in dialogue with the clients that aspire to a dynamic design which maximizes value and quality. Energy is expended to carry the vision through design development where the computer also brings an added dimension of accuracy and versatility to the drawing process. 3D computer aided visualizations or physical models may be employed.

Projects include new build speculative offices, edge-of-town B1 offices and internal fit-out for corporate clients. More recent office projects form part of larger mixed use and master-planning schemes we are engaged on. The traditional cellular layout has long given way to an open-plan, more inclusive and flexible working environment. New ways of working allow colleagues to move during the day to varying internal environments to suit the task, perhaps a touch-down meeting, group presentation or private intense concentration. Regeneration of older buildings to create new ways of working typically increases net usable floor-space by 10% and intensification of population by 30%.
