Of all the jewellers in Hatton Gardens we chose John Lawrence first because their windows display was not overcrowded and the pieces were not garish. The guys were polite & helpful & reasonably priced. The day before our wedding my wife discovered she had gone a size too small when resizing (she hadn't got to her ideal weight). We dropped off the ring in the morning & picked it up later in the day, they couldn't have been more helpful. I would without doubt use them again in the future.

Ruined Wedding
Liars and Cheats. We only undertake the making of wedding rings for people who pay. Despite numerous requests you never were willing to pay. We suggest you use your heading Liars and Cheats as your own description.

Please, do not use John Lawrence
DO NOT USE JOHN LAWRENCE. They constantly lied to me about my order. They take my money, then ignored all emails and messages. They took my wedding ring for re-sizing, and changed the style before giving it back, simply becuase they did not pay attention to how it was made (by them) in the first place. I have been forced to go elsewhere as they are now ignoring my calls and emails asking for it to be put right. There are some excellent jewellers in hatton garden but John Lawrence is not one of them. I rarely write reviews but this has been one of the worst 'transactions' of my life, and wedding rings are something so special, i would hate for anyone else to go through what i have been through.

Liars and Cheats
We had a very negative experience after retaining the John Lawrence team to make our wedding rings. Despite approaching them three months in advance of our wedding, John Lawrence continually failed to undertake the work, leaving us with no rings three weeks out from our big day. They then had the cheek to ask for more money on the basis that it was a rush job. Throughout this John Lawrence never responded to emails, or returned calls, leaving it for us to chase them - we received nothing but empty promises that the rings would be ready “next week". John Lawrence has ruined our wedding day - do not use them unless you are looking for a great deal of stress and frustration!
