The service at Hazara is fantastic. The team is always friendly and I always feel very welcome. The food is delicious too
I went there with my friends to see if this restaurant really serves authentic indian food ? But to my surprise every dish I tasted was perfect. Be it the flavours, texture, spices I loved everything. Really I guess chef has worked very hard in preparing such amazing dishes. 'tokri chaat' and jaipur rose icecream made my day. I will be a regular customer here for sure !!!
One of my friends didn't know the name of the Indian dish she wanted but she described it and they got it exactly right, making it taste better than she ever had before.
The menu may all surprise you as the prices are so reasonable for a north West location. Starters are under £20 main courses are about £30, and wine is around £20 making this a great value restaurant.
hazara has seating over two floors and can accommodate large groups and even have a set party menu to makes things easier. For couples and small groups you don't normally need to book but it's best to let them know in advance if there are lots of you so they can rearrange tables ready for your arrival.
I dined with friends visiting from the US and my one year daughter who was spoiled by all the staff. A baby highchair was provided and the staff kept on bring free samples for my daughter (and us) to try. The attentive staff entertained my daughter so we could eat our meal, without intruding on other diner's enjoyment. We would all recommend this restaurant as the staff are so welcoming and the food is delicious.the dalmakani was top gun of this restrunt
This is what Belsize Lane needs never before has the Village had an upmarket indian restaurant until now. The food is truly outstanding I've been here five times now and the food just keeps on getting better.
The food is prepared by a chef who has worked for a Michlen Star Restaurant and worked at the Taj Group in India and this is clearly evident from use of spices and the sheer balance of flavours. The Tookri Chaat is the best i've ever tasted the Malabar Meen Curry Halibit simmered in a coconut suace was out of this world. My wife is Jewish and will only eat the white fish and vegetables. Her Black Cod was amazing with Lemon Rice. They also have Kosher Wines and Kosher Herbal Teas on the menu. We won't be going anywhere else.
Great Service in light and airy surroundings. The Black Cod and Seabass are to die for.
Nice selection of wines and the Jaipur Rose Icecream is to die for. Very reasonably priced for the standard of food. We will definately be back
