I just spotted Crobar in the list of this weeks top bars, and seeing the name instantly brought back memories. Hazy ones mind!My only visit to Crobar was in 2002. I'd been to see a band (HIM) at the BarFly and heard that a few people were heading here after the gig - including the band. There was a lot of alcohol consumed that night, I've no idea what I was drinking - probably whisky, but what I do remember is the great music and ambiance around the place and the completely unpretentious clientèle.Even members of Iron Maiden were happy to say hello to the drunk who didn't believe it was really them. I'm planning to go back one day and apologise! So, great people, great atmosphere, great music and alcohol too! Count me in for next weekend!

Unbelievable music. For rock buffs. No DJ - only a juke box and bad speakers. Better get there early if you want seats. The place is very small, and there is extremely limited seating. But the decor, music and ambience more than make for any negatives.Probably the best as London doesnt really have too many rock bars.

Crobar! If the place was reduced to rubble and all that remained was the jukebox I'd still rather sit there than anywhere else in town. CHEAP and EVIL cocktails, spirits splashed everywhere and sometimes in your glass, tattoos, hot girls and LOUD music. Come on!Plus the walls are covered in 2000AD meaning at the end of the night when you are under a table you have plenty to read.
