Letting agents deal with the rental and letting of both commercial and residential properties. Usually this is a role that is combined with estate agencies but some letting agencies may specialise in a specific area such as commercial or student lettings for example.Essentially they act as a middleman between the landlord and tenant, usually taking a commission for their services.
The main organisations for letting agents are the Association Of Residential Letting Agents and The UK Association Of Letting Agents.
